Center for At-Risk Youth – Oranim College in Kiryat Tivon is yet another of the network’s strategic partners. The college has established seven Centers for At-Risk Youth in various network institutions in northernIsrael - Kiryat Motzkin, Tiberias, Bet Shean, Akko and Haifa.
Each center is unique and adapted to the population and school it serves. The core goal is to attract potential school drop-outs back into the classroom, by offering special workshops, night field trips and social gatherings, raising motivation and enabling participants to complete their matriculation studies.
Say “Yes” to Science – ( Israel ’s Ministry of Science and Technology scholarships program) Oranim College students participate in the Say “Yes” to Science project by tutoring younger students in science and technology.
Shachar Community – an innovative project where Oranim graduates in Yokneam live and work together, operating projects that help at-risk youth at the network’s local school.
