The School-Plus Program is a springboard for advancing special needs populations by improving their scholastic achievements and raising students' self-confidence. Enhancing their innate talents and skills while broadening their horizons reduces the chances of them dropping out of school. An enriched learning environment enables students to maximize their personal potential and promote their integration into society.

The program relies upon a longer school day and a constructive and supportive environment in which students enjoy a hot meal, prepare homework and benefit from tutoring by specially trained older students.

With most of the participating students coming from dysfunctional or socio-economically deprived families, the School-Plus Program serves as their second home.
